This offer applies only to Hancox Bloodstock 20 share syndications. In our experience, it is unique to our firm and has been responsible for providing a number of our sydicates with racetrack success. For instance, PAXINET, a multiple city winner was a replacement for an injured horse. JACIDITY, who won $100,000, was a free replacement for a maiden winner! Recent city winners who were free replacements are Delightfully and Captain Gulab - both winners in January 2000.

The insurance cover syndication companies offer with their horses is not going to fully protect your money. These horses are insured only against injury so severe that it results in destruction or death. For every horse that meets with a fatal accident, probably 100 would sustain injuries that finish their racing careers, or prevent them starting in their first race.

At Hancox Bloodstock, we prefer to open your eyes to the potentially costly risks involved in racing, as we place a Performance Guarantee on every horse we syndicate.

This unique guarantee means your initial outlay is completely protected. Should your horse injure itself and not make it to the track, members will be given the opportunity of it being replaced absolutely free of charge, with another well credentialled youngster chosen from the horses we have awaiting syndication,

This is a water tight guarantee - our selection program is so severe, that the same guarantee applies if your horse does not earn prizemoney on the racetrack.

1. Hancox Bloodstock Pty Ltd. DOES HEREBY GUARANTEE to select and provide at no cost a healthy, well bred and correctly conformed replacement horse ("the replacement horse") to those syndicate members who voted in favour of a resolution that Hancox Bloodstock does provide such a replacement horse if:

Within 14 days of them being notified by Hancox Bloodstock that a Veterinary Surgeon nominated by Hancox Bloodstock has certified in writing as to his opinion that the syndicate's horse, for whatever reason, be it injury or illness, is:

(i) unlikely to ever be able to start in an official race; or

(ii) Should the horse demonstrate a palpable lack of ability and/or lack of aptitude for racing, as agreed by the Trainer and the Manager, Hancox Bloodstock will offer a Replacement Horse to those members who vote in favour of continuing their interest in a syndicate.

Ownership of the replacement horse will vest in those Syndicate members who do vote in favour of such a resolution in proportion to their interest in the syndicate's horse and those syndicate members acknowledge that the training and like costs of the replacement horse will be borne by them in proportion to their beneficial entitlement in the replacement horse.

(i) Any syndicate members who are in arrears with the payment of their syndicate fees for a period in excess of one month will not be entitled to vote on the resolution for a replacement.

(ii) This guarantee will not apply if the original syndicate's horse dies and the insurer of the syndicate's horse makes payment pursuant to the syndicate's insurance policy.

(iii) If a replacement is provided, those syndicate members who share in the replacement will thereupon immediately forfeit any claim or right to the Original Syndicates' horse and their interest in the same will automatically vest solely in Hancox Bloodstock Pty Ltd.

The original syndicate's horse will then be sold pursuant to the provisions of the syndicate agreement and those syndicate members who do not vote in favour of the resolution will receive their entitlement of the proceeds of the sale and the original horse's Bank Account.
